Wilfred Abdul Willy (Music Co-ordinator). Willy was born in Bamako and remained there until he pursued his studies in Linguistics in the former Soviet Union. Willy has been involved in facilitating and translating a number of BBC radio broadcasts featuring Malian musicians and is himself well known on the African DJ circuit in London. Jonny Crabb (Web Site). Jonny has been updating the Friends of Mali-uk web site for three years. His interest in Africa started with the music of Fela Kuti, but an Andy Kershaw radio show about the music of Mali made him realise that there was more to life than afrobeat.
